Ségolène de Mathelin is a Policy Analyst at Badil | The Alternative Policy Institute, specializing in migration, human rights, and identity politics in the MENA region. She contributes to research and journalism outputs on Lebanese and regional policy issues, combining qualitative insights with quantitative analysis. Ségolène has worked with ARDD’s Question of Palestine program and the refugee policy program at AUB’s Issam Fares Institute, leading fieldwork and analysis on identity, integration, and post-conflict reconciliation. She also supported Fighters for Peace on collective memory and peacebuilding projects in Lebanon. Ségolène holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Amsterdam and another in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies from the University of Glasgow.
