Salma Daoudi is a policy analyst specializing in human and health security in fragile and conflict-affected settings, with a specific focus on Syria and the wider West Asia and North Africa region. Her work explores how health systems, humanitarian aid, and early recovery operate in contexts of violence and political instability, and how these dynamics shape individual security and collective justice.
She works at the intersection of research and policy, translating field-based research into analysis and engaging with different local and international stakeholders. Her experience combines field-based research and collaboration with humanitarian actors and civil society in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. She is currently finalizing a DPhil in International Relations at the University of Oxford, where her research examines the weaponization of health in Syria and its regional repercussions.
