Charles Lawrie is an Energy and Environment Specialist at Triangle and a writer at API. Charles has led programmes at Triangle and provided technical advice for clients including the World Bank, Oxfam, Mercy Corps and the EU. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Sussex, where his PhD dissertation examines Lebanon’s imported fossil fuel sector. He is an Affiliated Scholar at the American University of Beirut’s Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs, and holds degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Cambridge.
